PLC Feedback Sheet Date:4/8/09 Team members present:Meghan Jeske, Barb Goodloe, Cindy Pangell, Stacey Helbig Writing: For the Hot List meeting on April 23 Persuasive piece (critical components will be established in the rubric) Barb will get the rubric to everyone ASAP (We are not including style, etc… in this rubric, only the critical components.) Cindy gave everyone a hand-out from Step Up to Writing that explains “however statements” used in persuasive writing. For the May Hot List Meeting: Compare/ contrast(Have a compare paragraph to assess) Mountain Man letters/tall tales will be used for a classroom assessment, rather than a grade-level assessment. Other: We discussed road-map format and what we need to do to make it work for 4th grade. Next PLC: Discuss progress on persuasive pieces Trouble-shoot how to address needs of kids who are struggling, or kids who are needing enrichment. Plan for compart/contrast
